General
- What does FusionStudios do?
- We are a web design and branding studio for entrepreneurs. We design and build custom websites and online stores, handle branding, and help you become easier to find through SEO.
- Where are you based, and who do you work with?
- We work from Odijk, about ten minutes outside Utrecht, for businesses across the Utrecht region and the wider Netherlands. Remote projects are completely normal for us, including with clients outside the country.
- Do you work in English?
- Yes. From the first call through to handover and documentation. Our own site is in Dutch and English, and we build bilingual sites for clients with an international audience.
- How does a project run from start to launch?
- In short: discovery, strategy and concept, design and development, then launch. That takes around five weeks, with short lines and no account manager in between.
Cost
- What does a website cost?
- It depends on scope, functionality and how much is custom. A landing page starts from € 500, a business website runs from € 1.500 to € 3.500, and an online store starts from € 3.500. All amounts exclude VAT.
- What does SEO cost?
- That depends on your goals and your starting position. We work without long contracts and size the effort to what is actually needed, so you are not paying for a retainer that outlives its usefulness.
- Is a quote free and without obligation?
- Completely. Asking for an estimate or a full quote never commits you to anything.
- Are there ongoing costs after launch?
- Hosting and domain, and maintenance if you want it, from € 39 per month. Maintenance is optional and cancellable monthly. You are never locked in.
Technology and maintenance
- WordPress or custom?
- We do not decide that in advance. We look at what your business needs and give you an honest recommendation: WordPress when that genuinely fits, custom when it does not.
- Will my website work on mobile?
- Always. Every site we build is responsive, so it looks sharp and works properly on desktop, tablet and phone.
- Can I update the site myself?
- Yes, and we show you how. If you would rather not, our maintenance packages cover it.
- Do you offer maintenance after launch?
- Yes. Our maintenance packages keep your site fast, secure and up to date, cancellable monthly.
- Who owns the website?
- You do. The site, the domain and the content are yours, and you can take them elsewhere whenever you want.
SEO and visibility
- What is SEO and what does it deliver?
- SEO is the work of ranking higher in the unpaid results in Google, so customers who are already searching find you. Once a page ranks well, it keeps returning traffic without further spend.
- Do you promise position one in Google?
- No, and you should distrust anyone who does. Nobody controls Google's ranking. We work structurally on results that last and show you with real numbers what it produced.
- Do you work on local SEO?
- Yes, with extra focus on the Utrecht region: local SEO and city-specific pages, so you are easier to find in your own area.
- What about AI search engines?
- That is its own discipline, sometimes called GEO. It means making your content extractable and citable for tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI overviews, which is not the same work as classic SEO.
